@Nightingalle I know ^_^ Apparently experts can't agree if German "r" is uvular.

@Nightingalle Well, I am not an expert :), but there is some discussion on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guttural_R). Some say it's uvular, some say it's alveolar. From personal experience, it really depends what part of Germany a person is from.
@Nightingalle I always uses the alveolar regardless what language I speak :) Even in English, I can get away with it because I live in Scotland XD
@wim_v12e either way I'd better cram this R into my memory XD Still not sure how it's supposed to be pronounced, I have tried and several times it was close but I quickly forgot the trick of it XD

the trick is to use less force. it's the most fun consonant of all once you get it, fight fight!

think of it like the back of your throat is gummy and soft and splorches against the very back of your tongue to push some air up your nose

it's kind of like "bloop" or "florp". a little like "sploosh", but more firm and slimy
@shmibs anyway just that little lump one would never give the slightest attention to unless it's inflaming or learning European languages XD
